SOS Journal Entry - 2 March 19

I have no pain in my leg, which is great. I am home now. Yesterday, the medical staff at the hospital installed a pick line under my right arm. I'm now giving myself home infusions of antibiotic twice a day for the next four weeks or so. Life continues to grow in its challenges as I'm now ambulatory again (no weight on my left leg), and I can't use my right arm much, as it's the one with the pick line.

Life right now is exceedingly challenging. This morning, I heard God speak into my soul: Dave, your dignity comes from Me and from inside you. It's not based in your physical presence or stature. With tears, I said, "I love You, Lord. And I accept it. I accept it all."
