Romans 8:9 Meditation
Text (Ro 8:9, NIV):
"You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ."
Amplified Rendering:
You, though, no longer live under the dominion of the false self, with all its disingenuous systems, narratives, and personas(1). On the contrary, you've been awakened to who you are truly as God's adopted child(2). More than that, you've become a temple oasis of the Most High(3), one in whom the fullness of God's Spirit resides joyfully. The Presence of God within your soul bears witness: You are His(4), and He is yours(5)! Those in whom God does not live, do not yet belong to Christ.
Consecrating Prayer:
Holy Father...
Thank You for pursuing me so relentlessly(6) and, in that pursuit, finding me and bringing me back home. Thank you for sending Your Spirit to live inside me. May He always feel welcomed.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare these things...
