Romans 8:29 Meditation

Text (Ro 8:29, NIV):
“For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.”
Amplified Rendering:
On all those God foreknew—meaning, those He knew LONG before the foundations of the earth were laid—He placed a mark and set them apart that they might, through His sanctifying and regenerating work, become as much like their Creator as any created beings can become. Amazingly and quite mysteriously, this "likeness" would be experienced as an eternal sharing of (or participating in) the same inner essence-identity/form-nature and behavior as that of their Creator(1). This was accomplished that the Master might become the first-in-time, pre-existent Son-made-man-and-glorified-Christ, as well as the older brother of all those who would, by faith, look to Him for life, love, and their eternal existence as God the Father's glorious sons and daughters.
Consecrated Prayer:
Holy Father…
I am Your son, You are my Father, and Jesus is not only my Lord and Savior but my big Brother. In Him is life-eternal, I'm so grateful to have You, Him, and Your Spirit as my first-family. Continue to sanctify me through and through that I might participate, in ever-increasing measure, in Your Divine Nature.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare and ask You these these things...
Amen.
