Romans 8:34 Meditation

Text (Ro 8:34, NIV):
“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”
Amplified Rendering:
In light of all this, who then is the one passing unjust judgement upon us? Who's the one descending upon us, declaring us guilty, and imposing penalties? Is it God Almighty? No. Is it anyone else? No. In fact, there's no one at all. Not even God. In fact, Jesus the Son, and our Messiah and King—He who was slain on our behalf and, even more than that, raised to life—has become the righteous Right Hand of the Father. He Himself entreats the Father on our behalf; and since the Father always hears the Son(1), what the Son asks for is ALWAYS given. Always.
Consecrated Prayer:
Holy Father…
Condemnation has forever been eliminated. Because of what Jesus did for me (and all of us!), I can stand secure and no longer feel the enslaving terror of physical or eternal death. I'm so grateful for what's been done for me and what Jesus continues to accomplish on my behalf.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare these these things...
Amen.
